关系词的使用规则

• 定从每一个关系词做成分（包括that）
• 定从中关系词做宾语可省略（包括动宾和介宾）

定从的分类

• 限定性定从

I met your friend who is staying in Paris 朋友有许多，用限定性定从

• 非限定性定从

I met your mother, who is staying in Paris

区别： 所修饰名称的范围是否明确

非限定从注意

• 关系词不能省略
• 不能用that
• 指人做宾语只能用whom

This is Bill Gates, whom many people knows as the richest man

比尔盖茨是很多人都知道最富有的人

• 可以修饰前面整句话（只能用which）

The company will get back to you in three days, which is one of the typical rules

介词提前的定从
